the authoress

Good day there! I'm Mira, the one with the hazel eyes whose hues are constantly changing, and a poetic heart.
Amidst the mountains and pine trees of the wild state of Washington, with the deer and wild turkeys as companions, I pursue such activities as

reading thick books and scribbling stories and poems on napkins, old envelopes, and occasionally, paper,

exercising my untamable flair for the dramatic with musical theater,

exploring wherever the wind blows me, for though I may seem quiet, I am an adventurer at heart, (you never know, today could be the day I find a dragon, or an enchanted faerie's ring)

and seeing the world and all its beauty with wondering eyes.

I am fifteen, oldest of five children who are almost as weird as I am, former homeschooler (I now attend a teeny tiny private school-my graduating class is five people!), eater of chocolate and pasta (but not together), and couldn't live without my Savior Christ Jesus, my family and friends, and words.

I am an INFP, which means I will never stop seeing things through the eyes of a dreamer, as dreaming is what my soul feeds on.

I hope you will drop a note saying you stopped by-I love making new friends.
Come again soon to this space full of ideas, as I will be here.

Until then,
Mira XX

  5. Hey, there, Miri! My name is Amelia!
I am a fellow blogger and homeschooler, and was very inspired by your own blog. <3 I started blogging around two years ago, and as you can see — am still getting the hang of it. My parents are concerned about exposing myself on the internet which is why I currently have a private blog. Recently though, I received permission to invite whomever I want from the blogging community to view my private blog!
Sophia Noelle from Lavender & Blue (http://lantern-in-her-hand.blogspot.com/) mentioned that you might be interested in an invite to my blog as well. Together, we’ve been brainstorming ways I can get out into the community more, yet not have a public blog, and she thought you would be a good victim for our experiment. ;) And so, I was wondering if you would like to be one of that number. My blog certainly isn’t perfect, but on it you can find bits and pieces of my life — photography and writing.
I know it’s an odd request…especially from someone you don’t know! (However, I am following your blog and just took a little ‘hello’ survey on your ABOUT page.) So please don’t feel bad if you say no. No hard feelings. :D I’m simply looking for a creative way to share my blog with others.
If you’re interested, I would love it if you sent me a note by pigeon mail (or I suppose email would do): flarewendellruby@gmail.com, and I can invite you!
Thank you so much for your time and sharing your talent with us!

Postscript: Some of my common interests are writing, photography, reading, art, singing and loving the Lord. I hope to see you on my blog soon!

Homeschoolers for the win, yessssss!!! XD
It's so cool finding other Christian homeschoolers on here.
